Cayenne Turbo brakes on a Touareg ???

    Hello all,

    Sorry but I don't speak German. ANYONE HILFE ???
    I am new to this board, and I have a question for anyone who can help.
    A friend if mine has a Touareg V6, and is interested in putting some nice red Cayenne TT calipers and disks on his car. Since these cars are quite similar, I was wondering if they fit straight on ?

    yes Cayenne calipers fit perfectly to the Touareg, they are the same, except
    the Porsche brakes have the nice red finish.

    I'am also thinking of changing them, we already put them onto mine at a Porsche
    mech to see if they fit.

    Only thing which confuses me is that there is a official VW paper which says, you
    are loosing your warranty if you use painted calipers, red or whatever but not the
    original black. This is because they can't garantee the full brake functionality in extreme
    conditions due to the different heat distribution whith other paint as their original
    black one.
    And the paper even states the order to dealers, that they have to change the calipers
    if they are not original and not giving out the car before this change !!

    So, dicide by yourself :)

    Mine is silver with 22" wheels and the red Cayenne calipers look f***ing good,
    so I maybe go for them :)
